Re-review: I Reign Supreme!

 Skylander: Golden Queen

Upgrade path: In My Defense

    I'll be the first to admit that I may have been too hard on the Imaginators version of Golden Queen. Of course, she isn't as good as the Trap Team version, but there were certain things about her sensei counterpart that got more hate from me than they deserved. I'm not entirely sure if switching her upgrade path was necessary, but if I hadn't done so, I wouldn't have realized that she's actually an amazing skylander. Her golden shockwave hasn't changed at all while her winged scarabs did get significantly weaker. However, that doesn't mean that it's a bad move at all. It still does good damage while pushing enemies back and slowing them down. Her royal guards are actually better than I remember them being, but having a second one with this path is a nice bonus. As for what makes them good, they do fire at a somewhat quick rate and are incredibly accurate. Even her Sky-Chi is better than I remember as it's not too stiff and actually does really good damage. Overall, even though she still isn't perfect, Golden Queen has definitely proven herself to be a fantastic skylander, and one who is truly worthy of a 5/5.
