 Skylander: Golden Queen

Upgrade path: Ancient History

    As one of the main antagonists in Trap Team, Golden Queen becoming a skylander (as well as coming with the starter pack) was a big deal. She was also one of my favorite villains from Trap Team, so I am a bit disappointed with how she turned out here. Her winged scarabs are excellent for range as they do lots of damage and have lots of range. Her golden shockwave is very useful for freezing enemies that will drop gold when defeated. Her royal guard will fight for you, but it can be very indecisive about what enemy to attack and it doesn't even do that much damage. Her Sky-Chi sees her summoning a swarm of scarabs and directing them towards enemies. Just like with Bad Juju's Sky-Chi, it's powerful, but it's also stiff. Overall, Golden Queen was probably the most disappointing sensei for me. At least with Bad Juju, people already didn't like her, but Golden Queen was one of the best and most well-known villains, so this was a big disservice that only got her a 3/5.
