Game 6, Chapter 19: Another Win for Cortex!

Upgrade path: Gadgets Galore

    One of the biggest reasons why Imaginators was so anticipated was because fans would have the ability to play as Crash Bandicoot and Dr. Neo Cortex; neither of which were received well. While Cortex was originally my least favorite skylander, I later grew to like him and his trial solidified that. His blaster shoots quickly, so take out enemies with it isn't too much of a pain, and you can do a move where you can levitate enemies into the air. Uka Uka can also be used as a move; he does good damage and knocks enemies back. What I also love is the fact that you can put down a force field that makes the blaster more powerful. His mines are perfect for knocking enemies into the air, and you can throw two of them at a time. His Sky-Chi sees him using his blaster (now a staff) to contact a satellite that sends down a laser. Looking past the fact that it takes a couple of seconds to start working, the beam itself is very fast and powerful. Other than the fact that they made Cortex a sorcerer instead of a quickshot, they nailed him, and he's getting a 5/5.
