Game 5, Chapter 17: Dark and Dangerous!

Upgrade path: Master Angler

    Similar to Astroblast, Nightfall got a lot of hate for not being as good as the dark skylanders released in Trap Team. As crazy as this might sound, I actually prefer Nightfall over Astroblast; she's not great, but she does have some good things about her. Her hooks are a fine close range weapon; they do good damage and can pull off a 4-part combo (which is pretty rare). Her ambush move is kind of weird and it doesn't really do much damage and even if you want to call it a speed move, she doesn't move much faster. Her whiplash move doesn't do that much damage, but gets saved by her Soul Gem that allows her to trap enemies in the air where they'll take continuous damage. Overall, she's still the worst dark skylander, but she's not that bad. With that said, I feel like the best thing that I can give her is a 3/5.
