Game 5, Chapter 10: Silent but Deadly! (part 2)

 Skylander: Super Shot Stealth Elf

Upgrade path: Heavy Gunner

    Like with Shark Shooter Terrafin, Super Shot Stealth Elf was very controversial due to how she was turned into a ranged attacker when she was just fine as a close range attacker. Coming with the starter pack helped her a bit, but she still isn't as popular as her original counterpart. For me, while this repose is a downgrade, she's only a slight downgrade. Her dagger cannon isn't as fast as her previous weapon, but it's still just as powerful and has a lot of range. Her disappearing move is slightly better now that it spawns a turret, but the turret only shoots in one direction and is easily destroyed. Her spin attack actually does some decent damage while knocking enemies back, and she even gets a temporary speed boost. Overall, not the best repose and I still prefer the original, but Super Shot Stealth Elf is still an enjoyable skylander, one that still gets a 4/5.

      After Swap Force washed out the bad taste left by Giants, Trap Team came in to wash it out even further. Overall, the game was highly praised with IGN calling it the best in the series and many users on the r/skylanders subreddit calling it their favorite. As for me, I absolutely love it, but it's only my second favorite game in the series (we'll get to my favorite soon enough). Part of my love for this game comes from the trap masters and how enjoyable the majority of them are. Along with that, Trap Team introduced my favorite skylander and he just so happens to be a trap master.
