Game 4, Chapter 34: Gusts and Glory!

 Skylander: Gusto

Upgrade path: Air Ace

    Gusto is another trap master than is generally disliked by the skylanders fanbase. I'm not a big fan of him myself, but I do feel like he gets too much hate. His traptanium boomerang is powerful and when it comes back, it does the same amount of damage on the way back. His inhaling ability is very useful for getting rid of enemies and you can even spit them back out at your enemies. Inhaling enemies also heals you, so that's a nice bonus. His spin ability does good damage, but it does get annoying when it pushes enemies out of its range. Overall, Gusto's not the best trap master, but I do find him to be overhated, so a 4/5 should be good enough.

      After Swap Force washed out the bad taste left by Giants, Trap Team came in to wash it out even further. Overall, the game was highly praised with IGN calling it the best in the series and many users on the r/skylanders subreddit calling it their favorite. As for me, I absolutely love it, but it's only my second favorite game in the series (we'll get to my favorite soon enough). Part of my love for this game comes from the trap masters and how enjoyable the majority of them are. Along with that, Trap Team introduced my favorite skylander and he just so happens to be a trap master.
