Update: Future Installments
Now that I've reviewed everyone from Spyro's Adventure, I feel like I should take the time to touch upon characters from later games since each game has a new gimmick that makes it stand out from the first game. Also, before I explain how the reviews for the unique characters will work, I'd like to point out that every game before Superchargers introduce new "core" skylanders (skylanders with no extra gimmicks, like the ones from Spyro's Adventure). My reviews for those characters will not change one bit.

Giants
When Giants first came out, the actual giant skylanders were generally met with backlash due to their mutual shared speed (or lack thereof). I, however, will not be taking this factor into account when reviewing the Giants for two main reasons. The first reason is that speed was never really an important factor for me to begin with. I never really cared about how fast a skylander was when playing with them. If they got the job done, they were okay in my book. The second reason is that giants in general have a history of being slow creatures due to their heavy weight and large size (that actually sounds much worse upon typing it out).
Swap Force
This one has more to do with the template of the reviews. Swap Force gave players the awesome ability to literally break a figure and then put them back together. To show you what I mean, here's a picture of Night Shift's top half (Night) and Freeze Blade's bottom half (Blade), thus creating Night Blade:

This actually gave me a bit of a dilemma in terms of how I would phrase the upgrade path section at the top of my reviews since both halves of the swapper skylanders have their own unique upgrade paths. In the end, I went with this:
Upgrade paths: path name here (half name here), path name here (half name here)
Other than that, the reviews will stay the same.
Trap Team
I've actually got nothing here.
Superchargers
The main gimmick of Superchargers was that every new character and repose was paired with a vehicle that would increase their stats. When reviewing these characters, I will be playing with them with the vehicle that matches them. I also forgot to mention that you actually need these vehicles in order to play the game. Also, the quality of the vehicle will not be taken into account.
Imaginators
The new Sensei skylanders in Imaginators each had a new ability called Sky-Chi. Each one is unique to each character and could only be unlocked by visiting the shrine of their respective battle class (this game is kind of confusing). I will be taking these abilities into account when reviewing the senseis since they are still a part of their moveset and depending on their quality, they could end up increasing or decreasing a character's rating.
Very well written summary, I love it!
