Game 3, Chapter 24: Whip Up A Storm!

Skylander: Free Ranger

Upgrade paths: Wind Slasher (Free), Lightning Linguist (Ranger)

    Free Ranger isn't really liked in the skylanders community for reasons that I can admittedly understand. He's another skylander where all three moves have something good about them, but for the most part, they're ruined by a flaw. His stormblades are very powerful, but they're also a bit slow and it can happen where he'll move away from enemies during a combo. His tornado move does speed him up significantly, but it can get annoying when it throws around enemies. Also, if he takes a big enough hit (like from a shockwave), he'll be sent flying back. His eye lightning can stun enemies, but it doesn't do much damage and they don't stay stunned for long. Free Ranger is pretty similar to Wrecking Ball, and like that skylander, there are a few good things about him, but I can only give him a 2/5.
