Skylander: Pop Thorn

Upgrade path: Controlled Breather

    Pop Thorn is an interesting skylander to talk about as not many people talk about him. For me, he is one of the weaker cores from Swap Force, but considering the cores that were released for that game, that's not saying much. When he's puffed, he can shoot spikes that come out of his back and they are pretty effective. When he's popped, he can breath waves of air and they're also effective. Puffing and popping also comes with different attributes like increased armor (puffed) and increased speed (popped), so it's up to the player in terms of which form they want to take. Both forms also have their own unique abilities, but for the most part, they're okay. The body slam (puffed) does lots of damage and knocks enemies back, while the mines (popped) do knock enemies into the air, but they're not that effective. Overall, Pop Thorn is still a fun skylander, so a 4/5 feels like a good score to me.
