Game 3, Chapter 15: Go Fish!

Skylander: Rip Tide

Upgrade path: Fishy Fencer

    If you were ever going to ask me who I considered to be the most underrated skylander, I would say Rip Tide. Out of every core released in Swap Force, Rip Tide by far has the best moveset. His main sword attack has two different options: the swordfish, which is quicker, and the shark, which is a bit slower, but more powerful. While I do see myself using the swordfish more, the shark is still a pretty effective weapon. His fish toss allows you to switch between the swordfish and the shark, and they're pretty good projectiles on their own. However, his third move is the most random and awesome move in the game, where out of nowhere, he pulls out a killer whale and slams it down on enemies. It does so much damage and even shoots out piranhas for more damage. Honestly, I feel like if people were to play with Rip Tide more, he would gain more of a fanbase and be recognized as one of the best cores in the game. He may be overlooked right now, but that's not going to stop me from giving him a 5/5.
