(OUTDATED) Game 1, Chapter 16: Fear the Fish! (part 1)

Skylander: Gill Grunt

Upgrade path: Harpooner

    Rounding out the original three starter pack skylanders, Gill Grunt is possibly just as beloved as Spyro and Trigger Happy. For me, he would probably be the weakest of the three, but that's really not saying much. His harpoon gun does good damage and upgrades improve upon it by firing 3 at once. His water hose isn't best since it does get annoying when the water runs out, but that's just a small nitpick. The move itself can be useful for clearing out smaller enemies and knocking back normal enemies. His water jetpack is great for moving quickly and the water limit is significantly less annoying since it doesn't run out as quickly. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to call Gill Grunt one of the best skylanders ever, but I think that he's still great, so I'll give him a 5/5. He's not the greatest fish in the sea (not now, at least), but he's still a fun catch.
